Throne and Liberty: Recent Updates and Community Feedback

Since its launch on October 1, 2024, Throne and Liberty has been actively evolving, with developers NCSoft and Amazon Games implementing several updates to enhance gameplay and address community concerns.

Update 1.8.0: New Dungeons and Features

On November 20, 2024, Update 1.8.0 was released, introducing 2-Star Dungeons—reimagined versions of existing dungeons featuring more challenging bosses and new encounters. These dungeons offer rewards such as new accessory items and set bonus equipment. To participate, characters must have a Combat Power of at least 2,500. The update also includes the Solisium Sages program, allowing experienced players to mentor newcomers, and various weapon balance changes to improve combat dynamics.

Castle Siege Event and Upcoming Improvements

The first Castle Siege event concluded recently, with over 3,900 participants in the largest battle. Approximately 45% of castles changed hands during this event. In response to community feedback, the development team plans to address tactics that allowed attackers to infiltrate inner courtyards prematurely and to fix issues with pillage zones not distributing rewards properly. These improvements aim to enhance the fairness and enjoyment of future sieges.

Community Reception and Ongoing Development

The community has responded positively to the new content and the developers’ commitment to addressing feedback. The introduction of more challenging dungeons and the focus on mentoring programs have been particularly well-received. However, players continue to express concerns about performance issues and balance, which the developers are actively working to resolve.

As Throne and Liberty continues to develop, players can look forward to more updates and events designed to enrich the gaming experience and foster a vibrant community.
